rising thermals
a boil of terns
searching for a new way

all the plans in mind have built
quite rational delusions
that all essential pieces stay the same

at the beginning of the turning
every face has become strange

downward spirals
time in circles

the sequence of our days
the science of our fate
well beyond discerning

but old signs bubble up
